Ever fancied running your own market stall at some of the best farmers' markets, food festivals and events in the UK? We need personable, practical and reliable people to transport and set up our market stalls and serve some truly lovely customers. There’s no hard sell or commission, you simply need to be like-minded and love talking to people (especially if you’re into food and fresh produce).
We handcraft over 100 seasonal varieties of award-winning jam, chutney and marmalade – and this year we’ll be appearing in more places than ever – from bustling London foodie venues to various Horse Trials, to Christmas events including the Bath Christmas Market. We stretch from London to Devon, with most events on at weekends. And we need your help.
This is not a franchise – we pay day rates on payroll or to self-employed people. On the practical side you might need your own transport and a clean driving licence but everyone will need to be fit enough to set up a gazebo and tables, and to dress a stand largely on your own.
Whether you have a tweed jacket or tattoos, it makes no difference. Set-up for events often starts pretty early in the morning, so reliability is key. You’ll love the camaraderie of fellow stall holders (often other micro food businesses), be tech-savvy enough to be able to take payments on your phone and honest enough to handle cash.
If you’re interested there’s a basic form here to complete – and we’d love to hear from you and chat further on the phone.
